Hi. My name's Rob Schamberger. I'm that guy who paints rasslers. And other stuff. And the lightnin’ strikes.

I’m frequently asked who my favorite subjects are to paint and the answer is always the people who are already over the top. That’s clearly Thunder Rosa. Her look gives me so much to work with and inspires me as an artist to push those aesthetics even further. That said, all of those details in her look are REALLY COMPLICATED to paint! I had to get each part right, whether it’s the curls in her hair, the intricate gear, or the exact look of her face paint. Heck, even the little bit of skin seen behind the face paint. If any part was off, it would throw off everything else. It made for a nerve-wracking experience painting it but I’m super happy with how it turned out.

A QUICK NOTE ABOUT ORIGINALS

I had been told that originals would start being available tomorrow but that plan seems to be in flux. I’m sorry, this is all beyond my control. There have been some policy changes on the client end that’s altered my schedule and we’re sorting all of that out now. Like, it could all possibly be back on track today. If so, I’ll send a separate email out tomorrow morning with details about the original paintings. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

It’s still a relatively new relationship and we’re learning as we go. But we’ll get there.

But Sunday I’m going to tell you about how to privately commission an original painting from me, just for you. Stay tuned.

Tikka discovered that he can climb our room divider the other night and it’s now his favorite place in the house. He somehow finds the funnest option for everything he does and I really respect that life philosophy.
