This Malakai Black painting is a special one to me personally because it’s the first piece I made when I got back from my time in Florence, Italy learning under a master watercolor artist. If it looks and feels different from my other wrestling work, that’s the reason. I used these new techniques and mindset to create what I feel is a truly haunting vision.

Knowing that Malakai Black is a fellow cat guy, I’m overjoyed by how much Kima is featured in this episode. Her cuteness balanced against such a dark painting is kinda adorable.
