Housekeeping Stuff

Hi Friend!

As I talked about on Sunday, I had a huge project come up that’s (as you’ll soon find out) rightfully taking up all of my energy at the moment. Because of that, I’ve discovered that I’ll need to decrease the frequency of my newsletter back to once a week for the next couple of weeks.

I love you, I love the conversations we have, and so I want to make sure I’m not giving you anything other than my best effort. I imagine we’ll be back to twice a week by the second week of November with our fun Thursday conversations back in the mix then.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and support of my work! We’re doing something incredible together, you and I.

In the meantime, are you doing anything fun for Halloween season? I’m opening up the comments to everyone for this post. Katy and I have been trying to watch as many John Carpenter movies as possible and on Sunday we both saw for the first time his absolute masterpiece The Thing!

About half an hour in she turned to me and said, “I always thought this was set in the swamp.” It took me another hour to figure out she thought it was SWAMP THING. Very different movie, very different setting! But gosh we both loved the one set in Antarctica a lot and agree with literally everyone that it’s an amazing movie.
