Hey, all of these people are back in WWE again!
Howdy friend! Thanks for your patience the past few weeks as I focused on the Big Important Secret Project and then took a very-much-needed vacation with Katy. I’m back, recharged, and at the time this publishes driving east on I-70 to work SmackDown tomorrow in Indianapolis! (Driving takes one hour longer than my shortest flight would take as there’s no directs to Indy. That’s cool though, I’ve recently discovered the joy that is Star Trek audiobooks so I’m good.)
I’ve still got a few complete sets of my Topps 2021 Undisputed cards and am giving some sets out at random to people who leave a reply answering the most important question of our time:
What do you think I should paint for my next Wrestling Landscape Painting?
Keep in mind that I need to do these with people who have current working agreements with WWE. Spider-Man vs CM Punk on the Death Star as it’s being attacked by the starship Enterprise, while it’d be cool, is something I’m unlikely to paint any time soon.
I’m looking for those Big Widescreen Moments, as you’ve seen in these past couple entries:
The Roman Reigns one debuts next Thursday, by the way. Here’s a bonus progress shot before you get to see the whole dang thing:
There’s a Roman-sized hole in this painting right now. Also: Somehow this was my first time ever painting ring steps.
It’s my Very Best Work to date, and my plan is to do something even better next. I’ll let you know the two I’m thinking about doing after the paywall.
Can’t leave a comment? That’s because you’re not a paid subscriber yet. That’s cool, no pressure, and do it when the time feels right for you. I’m patient!
Okay, that’s all I’ve got for you today. This is going to be a big month for me between SmackDown, the Roman Landscape, Black Friday and the likelihood of the Big Important Secret Project getting announced imminently so I need to pace these things out, right?
Love you more,
Rob
