WORDS  

For my first-ever Harley Cameron painting I went a little more traditional, utilizing the approach I learned while studying in Florence, Italy last year. She such an iconic beauty, it felt like the right approach for a portrait of her, y’know? That said, I did have fun introducing a little non-sequitur turquoise because at the end of the day I have to be a little artsy.

I’ve been impressed by how hard she’s worked to get herself into a place of prominence in AEW. From my time in the wrestling business I’ve learned to watch for the people who make the most of every second of camera time that they get and she’s definitely one of those people.

ESPECIAL!

FOOD, DUDE!

Saturday night I made these green ‘chicken’ enchiladas (linked with recipe) and they were pretty outstanding. I subbed the chicken with Quorn Meatless Nuggets, heating them in the oven while I made the sauce and then cutting them up and mixing them into the sauce at the end. I also added a healthy pour of my homemade white wine vinegar to the sauce, giving it some more bite.

Once we ate them, Katy noted that some fresh-squeeze lime juice would have really brought this together so I’ll try that out next time (which Katy said will be tomorrow night).
